I had the honor of photographing Tamara and Shane’s Beautiful intimate New England wedding last month and couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. Flying out to that part of the country was a new venture for me and I was stoked! I love the feel of New England, the history, the buildings, the rocky coastline, lighthouses and the moody skies, It really is beautiful!
They wanted a quaint and intimate wedding, they were so comfortable and calm for their day and made this about them. Tamara got ready with her mother at Troupe Studio in the quaint town of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Michael did a fantastic job on her hair! Tamara sat there in her gorgeous Monique Lhuillier gown from Divine Designs in Portland so calm and relaxed, She was about to marry her Mr. right. The day moved so effortlessly and they both allowed tons of time for portraits as husband and wife which of course I love!
They chose several fun locations around town and on the water and I got to see more of the lay of the land and I can say Im pretty much in love with this sweet town of Portsmouth. After our venture around town, we drove to their stunning reception location on Lake Winnipesaukee in Alton Bay, New Hampshire. Just think more water, beautiful lake front home, amazing sunset, and family and friends. You really can’t get any better then that! As they sat down for their intimate family style Lobster dinner before their cocktail reception began,I was schooled on how to properly crack open a lobster as well as hear about the correct pronunciation of Portsmouth and of course we had to chat how to say Oregeee-gon HA! They were some of the warmest people I have ever met and it truly was an honor.

I loved watching how happy this now complete family is, The smiles on their kids faces were priceless! 
Whispering those sweet nuthins in her ear… I wonder what he was saying to put such a smile on her face? 😉
Even though they had a chef preparing their yummy Lobster meal, Shane still finds his happiness behind the grill, I mean what man doesn’t right?
I asked to steal the bride & groom for some sunset shots and they happily obliged
I saw these kids run off to the dock to watch the sunset as I was leaving and had to follow and grabbed this shot.
I’ll end with this one because it truly sums up such a beautiful evening
