When in doubt, hire someone that you mesh well with to capture your wedding day. It is one of the most intimate moments of your lives and truly should be captured by someone that you trust completely. What better way to really get to know your wedding photographer and of course them getting to know you, by photographing your engagement session. Not only do you find out how you are in front of the camera but also how your photographer and you mesh. Have fun with your engagement session, bring a few outfits, snazzy it up a bit for some and really bring out your personalities and love for one another. I always say to my lovely couples “what better excuse to simply look at each other and be really in tune with one another, play and to just love one another”.
I had such a blast with Petya & Kevin downtown Portland at the Vera Katz Eastbank Esplanade and surrounding rustic urban areas. I had never actually met them before this, we had been Skyping one another beforehand and totally hit it off through our Skype dates:) Petya and Kevin get out of their car and I started to walk over to them and Petya just starts to run over with open arms and welcomed me with the biggest hug… Yep I have the best clients in the world! I knew then this evening was going to go really well!
