I get so sad when I hear from clients “I haven’t even printed from our digital images yet” even after a couple of years and that disk or usb is collecting dust next to your computer because well I get it…. life. I cannot stress enough how amazing it is to see touch and feel those images either hanging on your walls, made into a gorgeous leather flush mount album for everyone to ooohhh and ahhh at. your memories in tangible format, yep do it! We don’t realize how easily forgettable our digital images are, not because you don’t love them but because they are not physically in front of you to touch and feel. We are an out-of-site out-of-mind type of generation, everything is digital.
Most of my wedding collections come with an album credit because thats how I encourage my couples to invest in their portraiture. Would you forget about a $500-$800 credit? Flush Mount Albums, this is a 10 spread 10×10 leather bound flush mount on thick watercolor paper. this cover is one of my faves, Sahara in distressed leather.
Another awesome way to display some of your images is displaying some Gallery Prints on a wall shelf or easel, these are matted prints and probably one of my favorite ways to display gorgeous photographs in right now. The matte is super thick and has backing on it so it really doesn’t need a frame to go with it, they are meant to do without the frame and look so classy and elegant.
Canvas prints are also a great way to display larger pieces of art work on your walls, and Im not talking 8×10’s or 11×14’s Im talking about that 24×36 Canvas in your bedroom or over your sofa in your living room! I have several large canvases in my home and the minimum size I have displaying my family pics and of my husband and I is a 18×24 and up to a 24×36. It makes such a statement and is your very own piece of art.
This is a 28×20 .5″ thick canvas in my office, the .5″ is my preference although I have several 1.5″ thick canvas’s around my home as well.
