Can anyone say its summa! As you may know I primarily photograph weddings and my season is in full swing which leads to slow blog posting as I focus on the beautiful chaos of photographing weddings. I do schedule portraits and of course engagements during this time, but this is on a more availability so I always suggest getting your session booked as soon as you even think about so we get you on the calendar.
This Portland maternity session at the Hoyt Arboretum was one of those scheduled far in advance and with a fellow photographer, momma extraordinaire. Photographing other photographers is always such an honor as well as a little nerve racking. When Lauren told me she was expecting and wanted to capture that time with her sweet Texan family, I was stoked!
Lauren and her family came to Oregon all the way from Texas and absolutely love everything about Oregon and found it their home. They wanted their photographs to have lots of greenery and trees to pull in that quintessential Oregon look and loved the Hoyt Arboretum. And as we walked around, we even found a beautiful view to boot. I had such a great time with these cuties and was so happy when I learned they had their baby boy very recently so a huge congrats are in order!
