There is so many awesome things about being a wedding photographer, I could sit down and write a list about why I love my job but I swear it would take decades to finish! I have been blessed to be able to do what I love and that people actuallywant to pay me to do what I love! I am being honest when I say I do tear up at EVERY SINGLE wedding I photograph when mom walks in and sees her daughter for the first time or when her future husband watches her come down that aisle and is about to be his wife. I tear up at the sheer moment of the bride putting her Grandma’s necklace on and when his mother hugs him so tightly as she lets him go on to start his own family. These moments are so special and Im in love with capturing them for my clients and I think best of all is when the bride becomes my friend! I have been blessed by so many of you, and I want you all to know that.

I never knew I was going to be a photographer, never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be where I am today, but I am jumping up and down screaming for joy… ok so my kids are in the background jumping for me right this very moment but you get my point right? I am married to the man of my dreams whom is also my best friend and have two seriously rockin cool kids, a damn good looking one-eyed Pug named Duke (arrrrrrrrhhhh) and our health and happiness, so really what more could I ask for?I haveto give my husband serious props right now for allowing me to do what I love and supporting me through it all,I could NOT have done any of this without you hunny!

So to end this, I wanted to say Cheers to all of my fabulous couples this season so far, you rock my world!

and ofcourse I have pics for you, a few weddings from the last couple of weeks because I know you all have been waiting ever so patiently for some sneak peaks!

Love this wedding !! The one with the trees and the path is just stunning 🙂

Isn’t it fabulous when you get to do what you love and you have the full support of your family who want to chase your dreams along side you. Well done for making your dreams come true 🙂

Deyla, I have to say as a bride the feeling is mutual. I cannot tell you how nice it is to get photographed by a friend rather than a ‘photographer.’ We are blessed to have found you!
THANK YOU!

your engagement couple at the top of the blog! can’t wait to see all of them 🙂 look at you just rockin out the sessions. way to go! oh, and can’t wait to see the tatted up couple. sweeet.

Awesome Deyla!!! And that first shot in the trees… WOW. Makes me wish we had more green out here in the desert. Those colors!! Amazing!

I love each and everyone of these, especially the middle ones with their warm light! Great job!

Each of these look terrific, and it’s so perfectly obvious you are so in love with your work because it shines right through your photography, it’s so transparent!
