Portland Heights Backyard Wedding Rehearsal Event

A Wedding Rehearsal Dinner to Remember

When it comes to weddings, the rehearsal dinner is often overlooked. However, it can be an opportunity to create a memorable and intimate experience for the wedding party and close family and friends. Last year, I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding rehearsal dinner that was held at a stunning home backyard with breathtaking views. Here’s a glimpse of the beautiful evening.

Lemons, Lemons, Lemons

The theme of the rehearsal dinner was lemons and blue, yellow, white, peach floral decor, which perfectly complemented the lush greenery and the view surrounding the backyard. The tables were adorned with Blue and white striped table runners, stunning place settings and blue glassware. The centerpiece of each table was a beautiful arrangement of fresh flowers in shades of yellow, peach, and white. The entrance was lined with balloons, lemon trees and custom signage.

Personalized Bottled Lemon Drops

As guests arrived, they were greeted with a refreshing and personalized bottled lemon drop cocktail with their name on it. This thoughtful touch added a personalized and welcoming element to the evening.

Heartfelt Toasts

After everyone had settled in, the groom’s Uncle opened up a prayer, then the groom’s father gave a welcome toast followed by a few other heartfelt toasts to the happy couple from close family and friends. There was so much joy and laughter!

Dining into the Night

As the sun set, the backyard was transformed into a magical space with stunning lantern candlelight and custom lighting. The guests enjoyed a delicious dinner under the stars, with the twinkling lights overhead adding to the ambiance. The evening concluded with laughter and joy as the couple’s loved ones celebrated their upcoming nuptials.

Overall, the wedding rehearsal dinner was a beautiful and intimate experience that set the tone for the wedding day. It was a reminder that sometimes the smallest details can make the biggest impact. If you’re planning a wedding, don’t overlook the rehearsal dinner. It can be an opportunity to create a memorable and special experience for your closest loved ones.
