Spring Bridal Shower | Washington Photographer

Creating just to create is something so necessary for the soul and when you get to team up with some INCREDIBLE talent, its truly a perfect scenario. Tracy Amos and I had talked about doing a spring shoot filled with colorful blooms and delicate design and we knew this was going to be photographed in the sweetest little farmhouse creamery on Tracy’s gorgeous property. Stone walls, big windows, It is a perfect little nook for a sweet bridal shower.

This shoot was planned prior to our Covid Pandemic in 2020 and actually was photographed literally right before shut down. Good grief, was this a year ago already?! I’m missing this and truly cannot wait to get back to creating!

So let the planning begin, Kim with Swoon Floral Design took our floral dreams into a reality and designed two different layouts for two set ups. She made a stunning floral arch that wrapped around one half of the large window and incredible tablescapes filling each table. Tracy Amos had a floral tablecloth made just for this shoot and designed each tablescape with her beautiful pieces through her other company; Great Jones NW. There were delicious treats such as lemon tarts and custom cocktails. The custom watercolor painting of the creamery on the invitation suite was a masterpiece and a perfect addition to the design, thanks to Letters & Dust. Olivia Hawthorne did a beautiful job on our lovely model and she stayed looking gorgeous throughout the entire shoot despite the wind LOL!

I was wanting something unique for our model and Elizabeth Dye designed the most gorgeous piece called “Melonie” named after its perfect melon color. Tracy found this other fun piece from a Vintage shop called Gossamer in Santa Barbara, a poka-dot and a orange-pink color dress with a bow draped down the front joined with a huge floppy hat to fit the look. Both pieces were easily paired with an original Tessa Kim earring from her newest collection. Our stunning model also wore these delicate heels designed by Joy Proctor for Belle Bella Shoes.

We are so grateful to have this shoot picked up for feature in the newest Seattle Bride Magazine, this was such perfect timing and the good news we needed during such a rough time for most last year.

So excited to share!
